Rad Effects/Shadows and Highlights
My favorite thing to do with Photoshop, changing the color, contrast, and all that stuff. But, I really enjoy playing with the shawdows and high lights!
1. Open up an image, with a dull, boring look. (Make sure that the image you use isn't too bright. Colorful is good, though). If your image is to "bright" try to fix the color. (Shift+Ctrl+B)
2. (Use the image below for help) Go to ENHANCE>>>Adjust Lighting>>>Shadows/Hightlights.
3. A new box will appear, play with that, making your image brighter, darker, increasing the shadows, all that jazz.
